Estranged Husband
We were contacted by a lady who was convinced her estranged husband was cohabitating and had left her for another woman. She wanted proof of this and also wanted to find out exactly where he was living
Our client told us that when her husband very first left he was really sad and apologetic as he felt that after 26 years of marriage that they had grown apart and he didn’t feel he loved her any more. He stated he required time apart and did not wish to tell her exactly where he was going. He took a significant quantity of funds out of their joint bank account which he said he necessary to set himself up in a brand new place to live.
While waiting for her husband to return their relationship started to go from amicable to acrimonious. He stopped answering her calls and paid less cash into their bank account. Our client was confused by this and she felt this was quite strange behaviour for him and entirely out of character. A friend of hers suggested that he might have yet another woman as a comparable factor had happened to her. She also urged our client to give us a call to see if we could support as we had helped her in the past.
We carried out a session of surveillance on her husband and found the address he was living at and that there was yet another woman living there. We then looked into the address and it was registered in his name as well as the woman he was living with. They had bought the property together just soon after he had left our client.
We were able to present our client with all the evidence she required to divorce her husband for adultery. Our client she stated that after the initial shock it all became clear and that her husband had most likely been having an affair with this woman for many years. She is now prepared to move on with her new life.
